Mr Anderson, welcome back
Nov 5 2003 - Machine vs Man & The Matrix. Catch the final showdown of this trilogy in The Matrix: Revolutions. If there was an award for most exaggerated movie of the year, this movie would clinch it hands down. :P
I won't reveal spoilers nor the end, you have my word so you can read on.
Continuing from Matrix: Reloaded, the Machines are closing in on Zion. Outnumbered 1000 to 1 and cornered, people of Zion are left to fend for themselves while hoping their heroes manage to get back in time to help them or for Neo aka The One to do what he has to do. Dramatic? Well, you get the drift.
The cinematics in the battle between Man and Machine was probably the best new-age battle of the year. The APUs are somewhat impressive, though still depending on manual reload.
Remember the kid whom thinks Neo rescued him? Well he makes a comeback and his part in this trilogy will finally be revealed.
The Final Showdown: Agent Smith vs Neo aka The One. Sound like WWE Smackdown? :D Superbly exaggerated fight, like you've never seen before. Out of this earth! Almost literarily. The end is quite confusing, makes you say, 'huh?'. Reflect on what The Oracle said, and you'll understand somewhat.
The Oracle, now who is she and what is her role in this? Can't help it, but IMHO she's similar to Irina Derevko in Alias. :) Won't really figure her out till the end. Ask her a question and she'll put more questions in your head!
So the trilogy has ended.. or has it? ;-)
Funny...
- The Oracle can cook! :o
- The Final Showdown = Superman + Godzilla + WWE + Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon !
- Surely the Machines can do with a better army! Maybe they were created by a human after all...
- Morpheus could do with a bigger role. He is a big man.
- Ever wonder what little Neos and Trinitys will look like (if they got together)? :D
