Along Came Polly
Mar 23 2004 - Rachel + balls-caught-zipper-Ted + a Ferret? Can't be a winning formula definitely. Watched Along Came Polly just for the heck of seeing a ferret on big screen.. :D
Reuben Feffer (Ben Stiller) is an obsessive compulsive Risk Analyst in an insurance company. He can tell you, your chances of getting hit by a car on your way home, why not to eat nuts at the bar and perhaps even the chances of your mother-in-law moving in with you after marriage! In a nutshell, his new marriage breaks down and .. along comes Polly. Surprised? ;)
Rachel, I mean Jennifer Aniston *ahem* plays Polly Prince who, needless to say is the complete opposite of Reuben, that's where the fun comes in. Polly and Reuben know each other from high school. Therefore, Reuben feels fate has brought them together, has a relationship with Polly and tries to make it work, although it really nearly kills him. Ah.. love is blind they say.
Ooo.. check out Hank Azaria's washboard abs! He plays Claude, the French scuba instructor whom stole Reuben's wife. Apparently, his sexy butt appears in the movie! (Not that any locals will get to see it at the cinemas :( ) Always a joy to see Hank as a cameo, what more this time with a happy hippo story. Haha..
The down side of this show?:
- Obviously, no chemistry between the two.
- Originality was greatly lacking.
- The local censorship board didn't help either, they were sooooo busy, I hardly got to watch much of the show.
- ..and the ferret didn't get enough air-time. ;)
