Hellboy aka Super Sapiens
Apr 21 2004 - What's wrong with the word 'hell' in the title anyway? Sigh, narrow-minded ppl, probably. Anyway, Hellboy did not disappoint in special effects, though can't say the same about the storyline, what storyline? :P
Ok, so the super heroes here are not as cool as X-Men, more like a red version of Shrek plus a few more characters. The villain got a bit boring as well coz there was only one type, and it kept regenerating. So what else is new? Kinda like red Shrek vs Alien. Will spare you the history, you gotta visit the website for it. :)
Will also spare you the plot coz it ain't much, not much of a love story between Hellboy(Ron Perlman aka Beast) and Liz Sherman (Selma Blair) either. There ain't any fancyful gadgets, no swashbuckling heroes, no cool cars, nor cool stunts, you get the drift. Somethings are just meant to be left as a comic series. I don't really see the point of this movie, do you?
