Twisted
May 11 2004 - The storyline was Twisted, needless to say. :P A good effort, not much of a thriller, but it could've been better.
Newly promoted to Inspector in Homicide, Sheppard(Ashley Judd) has a tough time fitting in. It doesn't get easier when you've got family history AND guy trouble. By coincidence or not, the men she's slept with are turning up dead. Talk about the kiss of death!
After having seen Samuel L. Jackson in bigger roles e.g The Negotiator, it was a little disappointing he played a small role in this movie, albeit in the center of attention. There wasn't much depth in the characters nor the story, perhaps due to the short duration (96 minutes) of the movie? But it was fun guessing the mastermind behind the murders and one juncture, I even named the old lady in the window! :D The act murders aren't creative, so no CSIs (Crime Scene Investigators)required.
A few good hunks:
- Bob Sherman(Jim Hechim) and another guy at the bar (Joe Drago??) are such eye-candy!
