She's quite funny - but I guess some pranks are a bit old and wearing off on me. A lot less fantasizing this time and less talking to her diary, so the fun of the ol' Bridget was certainly missing. Don't get me wrong, she's still got the best lines though somehow, not everyone got all of her jokes/references.
Rambling rants and all dat, are the best of Bridget. Don't miss the phone 'message' she tries to leave for Darcy when he turns up at her door! You gotta love how this girl handles adversity.
Shining knight with a pole up his arse, Mr Darcy(Colin Firth) is he, but he looks much more charming this time round. I don't give a damn that he folds his underpants before he goes to sleep. He's with Bridget this time round, though the girl can't make up her mind to keep him or to dump him. Wish I had her 'problem'.
And that sleeazy skank, who else but Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant), out to woo Briget into a yet another shag-athon. What is his attraction to Bridget? Wanting to partner her in a TV travel show thingamajig... bah!
Oh those two.. 'men' still can't fight. Reliving the disgraceful 'showdown', it was hilarious when Darcy took up Cleaver's challenge to drown him in 16 inches of water!
So, who wins? Watch out and see bet I think you're mind's pretty made up. Where's all the hilarity and unpredictable-ness we saw in Bridget Jones 1? Stick to the book, and wait for the next!
