Body Pump - Instructor Ronald was having a trip down memory lane with the good ol' tracks. Britney Spear's Stronger will have your biceps screaming for mercy! Short but oh so (insert expletives here) sweeeeet track.

Step up Lunge! - If you ever think lunges are getting too easy for you, bearing good form, try putting your front foot on a step board (what, 2 inches above ground only, right?) and do non-stop 16 singles and 8 bottom halves, hold on the last one. Then change!
|
Still too easy? Carry a bar.
That was only the warm-up. Now step both feet up on the board, and do backward lunges. 8 double counts, 16 single counts. Switch!
By the end, I had both my legs shaking, even throughout the shoulder track! That was really good but painful. :P Never thought a step board could make so much difference, eh?

Body Step - Straight into Step, instructor Nicholas had to switch to vertical-sharing formation as there were too many people today. I myself am guilty of adding to the count, as Monday nights ISKL Ultimate Frisbee season has gone into Summer break! haha...

Intermediate class today, and there were so many turns, I kept getting confused and kept missing steps ! :( Been a long while since I stepped into this parlour, I told the spider. hehe.. I noticed I kept missing one particular turn to the left, and kinda upsets the guy next to me, and he left towards the end :( Sorry!
The other guy to my right would keep forgetting one sequence and would just run up to the other board when he sees me coming, often not fast enough. It's ok, live and let live. haha.. My secret plan to create a domino sequence to rival V for Vendetta, did not quite materialise. :P
