Step up! - yeah, I needed (and still need) to increase my cardio workout so I decided to go for Body Step instead of Pilates at gym. I haven't done steps in ages.. I can't tell my left leg from my right.. but watdaheck...
T-step, freeze step, shuffle knee, over, extension.. aarrgghhh!
And all I really did well was the 'basic'. ROTFL. I did my best to keep up and I didn't collide into anyone else! woohoo! Yes, that's an achievement as we moved from the left to the right of the board, to the front then to the back. Confusing aint' it? Especially at 100 beats per minute or was it more?
Calf strain - Though mebbe my calves still ache as I didnt stretch enough during cool down and went to do another round of weights mostly on the upper body. hm.. note to self.
Knee strain - Body Step is suppose to work on your thighs and butt, but I felt more strain on my knees. Perhaps, coz I was on the second rung of the step board and my legs are 'extremely' long. Hence, I think my knees lock as they stretch to touch the floor sometimes. Bad, just bad. Will have to slow down and get the form right.
Water.. water.. and I had not brought any with me that day. So I tried to imagine myself running the 10km at a slightly faster rate.. without water. Do-able.. just have to keep your mind of the oasis at the end of the desert.
*Tap myself on the shoulder* I did ok!.. Would I go back?? Mebbe...
