Body Step, California Fitness @ Mid Valley Megamall
Usual Monday night instructor, Nicholas was not feeling well and had a Mr Cartoon replace him. I nicknamed him this coz he teaches in a funny manner. He introduces the choreography very quickly and dances through it expecting us to grasp it. When we all start to laugh, he will slow down to a super-slow mode.
T-bone - Yay, we got to use 2 boards to form a T and dance on both boards. Mr Cartoon had a number of sashay steps on the board, and as the music got faster, I found myself practically running ! Sometimes I'd miss a step and have to take half-steps to catch up! haha.. cheating, I know!
It was a really good workout, choreography had enough variations for a challenge, and the music just got faster!
There were 2 songs which I don't particularly like, Rihanna's 'Unfaithful' and Taylor Hick's 'Do I Make You Proud'. However, when these songs were re-mixed and played at perhaps 120-160 beats per minute, it was perfect!
Back to Nicholas's class on Friday, I can't wait! I hope it's faster than last week's slow music, as he was cautioned for progressing with the Intro Step class :(
