June 26 2004 - Picked up the pace working out, overtimed watching Euro 2004 and chalked up a huge sleep debt. Sounds pretty much like my week! *yawn* I feel like a hamster running the wheel endlessly!
2nd Follow Up - Time to rekindle the feeling of a lab rat :P Everything seemed to decrease, including my blood pressure, or was it my imagination? LOL.. everything's a blurr to me these days. Anyway, will hope to keep on the sliding scale. 9 weeks to go.
"How's your program?", asked Yuki, my Fitness Instructor(FI). I thought my customised exercise program was a bit light, so I've increased the weight and or the reps, while keeping to full range motion. Also, have to keep the rest period between exercises to a minimal to keep the heart rate up.
Thumbs Up! - Been getting moral support around gym after they saw the 'mug shot' of me on the notice board. Left profile, right profile, full frontal shot. Man, this is embarassing.
However... Rammish, a senior FI at gym offered to help me intensify my workout. For now, he has me running as fast as a hamster would, crunching the abs in hopes of doin Level 5 of Abs Strength, and more to come.
Indoor Waterfall - After my intensified cardio workout, I was dripping with sweat. When I did a quad stretch, sweat was pouring down my knee to the floor below! And this was in an air-cond gym! Felt like I'd just run the equivalent of 10km. ;)
Get Nourished! - The gym nutrionist, Rosaline has been MIA, but I've managed to set up a date with her on Monday. Pretty sure my diet's screwed and needs tweaking. As long as I don't have to eat food that don't taste good. I still insist, food which don't taste good MUST be good for you and vice versa. hehe.. but that's just me.
Think Bali...
