17 Jul 2004 - Something tells me I'm gonna dread my assesment next Wed. Been working so hard in gym, my day job seems easier by the minute. hehe..
Moment of truth - Come Wed, I shall find out whether my new regime has done me any good, though I've already this dark cloud looming over my head. My assesment should reveal if at all I've managed to lose any body fat/weight, my secondary focus of this challenge.
Li'l Hamster -
You wouldn't believe it, neither do I, I've been running 5km at 9.0(6.4mins per km pace) for 5mins, then at 10.0 pace for 2 mins, repeat. Then rest a minute or so, before cycling close to 5km in 9mins or less. Usual target is 8min 45secs, which has been getting harder to hit unless I get a longer rest of say 4 mins in between. So this is what it may feel like to be a dual-athlete, huh?
Endocrinologyst - I can barely say the word let alone spell it. Before I got off work on Fri, Michael fr the US (another friend I met online playing Backgammon), suggested I see an Endocrinologyst to ascertain if I have a thyroid problem. Since I've streamlined my diet, and up my game at cardio and weight training, yet haven't lost weight nor body fat...but a thyroid problem? Hm... time to Google.
